Hi everybody I'm just wondering if there is a safe and easy way to reduce the swirls on the paintwork? I don't have an electric polisher so it will have to be done by hand.
I gave my car it's first wash and used the 2 bucket method and sheepskin mit etc. Unfortunatly the previous owner didn't use it so there are light swirls.
Thanks

Autoglym Super Resin Polish has a filling agent which will help to 'mask' the swirls although it won't totally remove them and the process would need to be done again in a few months. Completely getting rid of swirls by hand is not easy.

Ahh well I have already got some of the super resin polish! I didn't realise it covers swirls. I will give it a go if the weather is nice over the weekend. Thanks for the help

Autoglym also make a Paint Renovator product which has a bit more cut to it (see link). I havn't used this myself so don't know how careful you need to be with it. http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-proddetail.asp?v06VQ=GI&Range=1

The secret is in the clay. Just some advice, if you drop the clay, throw it away.

Are there any good instructions on how to use the clay? I'm a complete novice and I don't want to end up wrecking the paint work! Is it easy to use?
